Every State has hidden treasure, and Missouri is no different. People from all walks of life are searching, and finding these lost treasures. Sometimes they happen upon them by accident. You can find these treasures also.
I know of construction workers who are tearing down homes, suddenly finding money or jewelry, or both.

People remodeling homes are finding caches in walls, under floors, in attics and basements. Although these kinds of sudden finds are rare, many People are actively looking for a hidden treasure. However, before you set foot on the property search of these people ever explored the treasure first.
When you visit the local historical society, you may be able to find the treasures of the lead. Search old newspaper files. Sometimes, they were rich or buried treasure left behind an old hermit about business. Old newspaper accounts of the robbery has always been, and that sometimeswhere the robbers may have buried their loot.
Do you know older persons of a small town or village? They know everything that has gone on for years. Often times they love to talk about the past. You will be surprised at what you may learn.
If you own a metal detector, it’s a good tool to use in your searches. If you are thinking of purchasing one, don’t buy an expensive detector. You can get by with a metal detector that costs between 0 – 0.

Donnelly of Immaculate Conception Church. Father Donnelly buried the possessions somewhere in or around the church grounds or cemetery. Soon after, he died of a heart attack. The treasure, worth approximately ,000, was never found. Check the archives and local historical societies become, the more research is needed in this story.
Mound City Big Lake is about 10 miles west of U.S. 29.
Gold coins, near Big Lake, has been found on the east bank of the Missouri River. Coins can be steamer sunk near Caruthers WR. He contributed $ 30,000 in gold coins. Steamboat Sultana – Rasarutana was sunk about two miles south of Big Lake. Sultana was a $ 65,000 gold coins. Lynn Talbot doc Treasury – Dr. LynnTalbot, a successful physician during the Civil War, buried a keg full of gold coins somewhere on his property. A robber murdered the Doc because he did not reveal where the cache was buried. His home was known as the ” House of the Seven Gables”. It was located a few miles north of Barnard, on State route 71. Again, using a metal detector around the home is the best way to search for this treasure. Be sure to ask for permission first.
The Kaffer Treasure – Supposedly a Great treasure of gold coins is buried near Route 3 in Armstrong as any treasure story, had an important role in the study. This bit of information about the Cape, and more about the local library has a treasure of the Historical Society. Please try to read through old newspaper files.
